However, further study is needed to confirm other psychometric characteristics. ICF-CY (Internationell klassifikation av funktionstillstånd, funktionshinder och hälsa – barn- och ungdomsversionen) godkändes av WHO som en ”härledd” klassifikation baserad på huvudklassifikationen ICF. ICF-CY har aldrig uppdaterats, däremot har ICF uppdaterats av WHO och täcker sedan 2017 alla åldrar.
